Data we collect
When you contact MELUKA, we process your name or company name, email address, message and any estimate attached from the calculator. The hosting provider may process technical data such as your IP address, browser information and request details to deliver and protect the website.
Purposes and legal bases
We use enquiry data to respond, prepare a proposal and take steps you request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For other correspondence, our legitimate interest in communicating and establishing or defending legal claims applies (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Technical data is used to operate and secure the website under the same legitimate interest.
How long we keep data
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle an enquiry and then for any period in which it may be necessary to establish or defend legal claims. If we work together, we also keep records for any period required by law. Technical data retention follows the infrastructure provider’s settings and policies.
Recipients and data transfers
Technical data may be processed by the site publishing providers and Cloudflare, which provides website infrastructure. An email provider may process correspondence data. Cloudflare is based in the US, and its services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. For transfers governed by the GDPR, Cloudflare identifies standard contractual clauses as a safeguard. Details and a copy of the relevant clauses are available in its data processing addendum. Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may complain to the Polish data protection authority (UODO). Providing enquiry data is voluntary, but we need an email address and message to reply. We do not make solely automated decisions or profile people contacting us.
Cookies and analytics
The website does not use marketing cookies. The calculator saves your chosen estimate in your browser’s session storage to attach it to an enquiry; that data disappears after the session. We currently do not use an analytics tool that requires consent to cookies.
